For people with more projects than their head can hold

Say what’s on your mind once. Get back a week you can actually finish.

An iPhone planner that files everything you tell it, proposes your week every Sunday, and gives each day one thing that makes it count. It runs on the Claude or ChatGPT key you already have, and you pay for it once.

The phone screens on this page are animated mockups of the app. The 60-second clip further down is a recording of the working prototype.

Things you can just say
“buy oat milk”Groceries “for the website, fix the pricing table by Thursday”WebsiteThu Oct 8 “idea: weekly newsletter”Ideas “call the apartment building, ten minutes”Task10 min “book movers for the Chicago move”Chicago move “follow up with Alex about the partnership”Task20 min “renew passport”Task “actually, make that Friday”Fixed the last one “send Micky the revised reel”Task

Right now there’s a list in your Notes app.

There are a dozen screenshots you meant to deal with, two or three projects that live only in your head, and a grocery item you’ll remember when you’re already standing in the shop.

None of it is lost. It’s just everywhere. So every Monday you sit down to plan and spend the first part of it rebuilding the list. By Wednesday the plan is stale and you’re back to working from memory.

You’ve probably tried to fix this already. A better to-do app. A Notion setup. An AI planner that fills your calendar down to the quarter hour. They all need the same thing from you: keep feeding them, keep sorting, keep re-planning.

Lifehand needs one thing from you. Say it when it comes up. It files it, plans your week from it, and only comes back when it needs a decision.

How it works

Most planners work on today. Lifehand works on your week.

Animated mockups of the app screens

  1. 01Any day

Say it, whenever it comes up.

Hold the orb and talk, or type. Send a screenshot, a photo, a link, or a write-up you pasted from ChatGPT. You don’t open an app and pick a list first. You just say it.

  2. 02Seconds later

    Filed, without you sorting.

Lifehand files each one as a task, a project note, an idea or a list item. “Buy oat milk” goes on groceries. “For the website, fix the pricing table by Thursday” goes on the website project with a due date. Got it wrong? Say “actually” and it fixes the last one.

  3. 03Sunday, 7:30 PM

    Your week shows up.

One notification: “Your week is ready to lock.” Inside are 3 to 5 outcomes tied to your projects, the tasks that move each one, and one rule for the week. Swap anything, regenerate it, or tell it what to change in plain words. Then lock it.

  4. 04Every morning

One thing that makes today count.

Today opens on the pass. Under it sit three things that support it. Approve the day and Lifehand blocks the time on its own calendar inside Apple Calendar, around the meetings you already have. It never moves anything without asking.

  5. 05End of the week

    The review is already written.

What shipped, what slipped, what carried over, what changed after you locked the plan, and how close your time estimates were. You read it. You don’t write it.

Other AI planners try to fit more into your day. Lifehand picks fewer things and protects them.

Why I built it

I built this because my own week kept falling apart.

DRAFT BY CLAUDE: every detail below is a guess. Replace with what really happened.

For years my planning lived in four places: a list in Notes, a pile of screenshots, a Notion page I’d stopped opening, and my head.

Every Sunday I rebuilt the list from scratch. By Wednesday I was working from memory again, and the things that mattered most were the ones that slipped.

I tried the apps. The to-do apps made me the filing clerk. The AI schedulers packed my calendar so tight that one meeting broke the day, and they charged a monthly fee on top of the Claude subscription I was already paying for.

So I built what I wanted: one place to say a thought the moment I have it, and a plan waiting on Sunday that I can lock and stop thinking about. I’ve planned N weeks in a row with it while building the app itself. Now I’m opening it to 500 people who work the same way.

What you get

Everything in the app, and what it saves you.

  • Capture from anywhere on your iPhoneThe Home screen, the Action Button, the Share Sheet, or the Lock Screen widget. You don’t open an app and pick a list first.
  • Voice, text, screenshots, photos, files and linksText inside a screenshot is read and kept with the item, so the screenshot stops being a dead end in your camera roll.
  • Filing you don’t have to doTasks, projects, ideas, references and lists, sorted for you. Shortcuts like “by Thursday” or “takes 2 hours” help if you use them, and it works fine if you don’t.
  • Projects that hold your docsPaste a write-up from ChatGPT or Claude and it’s kept word for word, with a summary and action items you add in one tap.
  • An Inbox you can search, where nothing gets overwrittenYou add to a capture by talking or pasting. The original stays as you said it.
  • A weekly plan you lock3 to 5 outcomes, one rule, estimates approved in one go. Export it as a PDF if you like it on paper.
  • A Today screen with one main thingThe pass, three supporting items, and bonus items that wait their turn.
  • Time blocked in your calendarOn a separate Lifehand calendar inside Apple Calendar, so your own calendars stay untouched. Google and Outlook calendars work too.
  • A weekly review written for youShipped, slipped, carried over, and how good your estimates were.
  • Quiet by defaultA morning brief, the Sunday plan, and quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM. No streaks, no badges, no “you haven’t opened the app” nudges.
See it work

One week, start to finish, in 60 seconds.

  1. 01Say it. Three things, one breath, three different places.
  2. 02Sunday, 7 PM: your week, drafted from what you said.
  3. 03The pass: the one thing that makes today count.
  4. 04Blocked on its own calendar. Your calendars stay yours.
  5. 05The review writes itself.

Who it’s for

Built for one kind of person.

It’s for you if

  • You already pay for Claude or ChatGPT.
  • You run more than one thing at once: a job and a side project, a business and a family, a launch and a house move.
  • You plan your own week, and you’d rather review a draft on Sunday than build one from scratch.
  • You use an iPhone.

It’s not for you if

  • You need a shared board for a team. Lifehand is personal.
  • You want every 15 minutes of your day scheduled automatically. Lifehand plans outcomes and leaves the rest of your time alone.
  • You’re on Android. It’s iPhone only for now.
  • You don’t want to set up an AI key at all. Lifehand needs one, and the first screen after sign-in walks you through it in about five minutes.
Price

Pay once. Use the AI you already pay for.

Sunsama, Motion, Akiflow and Morgen charge $15 to $49 a month, every month. Lifehand is $29.99 once, less than one month of Motion or Akiflow, and then it’s yours. prices checked 2026-10-05

Also included

  • Your first week on day one. Talk for two minutes, tap Build my week, and get your first plan the same day instead of waiting for Sunday.
  • Connect your AI in five minutes. The first screen after sign-in walks you through creating a Claude or OpenAI key and testing it.
  • A two-minute key setup guide for Claude and OpenAI, linked right from the app.
  • A direct line to me. Founding members email me directly and vote on what gets built next. confirm

Why you bring your own key

  • Lifehand runs on your own Claude or OpenAI key. That’s why there’s no subscription: the only ongoing cost is your AI usage, billed by Anthropic or OpenAI at their normal rates. On the default Claude model, even heavy use (20 captures a day) works out to roughly $5 to $14 a month, and most people use far less.
  • Your key is stored in the iPhone Keychain and only ever sent to your provider.
  • Your raw captures go from your phone to your provider. Our server never sees your key, your prompts or the AI’s answers. Your captures and plans are backed up by default, encrypted at rest, so a new phone picks up where you left off. Turn capture backup off in Privacy settings any time, and your backed-up captures are deleted from the server.
  • Claude is the default. OpenAI works too.

Questions

What people ask first.

What’s an API key, and is it hard to get?

It’s a password that lets an app use your Claude or OpenAI account. It takes about five minutes: create an account at platform.claude.com (Claude) or platform.openai.com (OpenAI), add a few dollars of prepaid credit, create a key, and paste it into Lifehand. The app walks you through it.

I pay for ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro. Is that enough?

No. Claude Pro and ChatGPT Plus don’t include API access. The API is billed separately, pay as you go, usually a few dollars a month for Lifehand.

What will the AI cost me each month?

You pay your provider for what you use. On the default Claude model, 20 captures a day comes to roughly $5 to $14 a month. At 5 a day, it’s closer to $1 to $4. Your daily plan doesn’t use the AI at all. You can see your usage in your provider’s dashboard any time. estimate; confirm in beta

Who can see what I capture?

Your key stays in the iPhone Keychain. Captures go from your phone to the AI provider you picked. Anthropic and OpenAI both say data sent through their API isn’t used to train their models by default, and Lifehand never trains on your data either. Our server never sees your key or the AI’s answers. It keeps an encrypted backup of your captures and plans, which you can turn off in Privacy settings.

Does it replace my calendar?

No. It adds one calendar called Lifehand inside Apple Calendar and only writes there. It reads your other calendars so it doesn’t plan on top of your meetings.

Does it work with Siri?

It uses the Action Button, the Share Sheet and widgets instead, so capturing is one press.

iPad, Mac or Android?

iPhone only for now. There’s no iPad, Mac or Android version yet.

What happens to my data if I stop using it?

Export everything as a file from Privacy settings. Deleting your account, from Account or Privacy settings, erases your data from your phone and our server right away.

Why one payment and not a subscription?

Because you bring the AI, my costs per person are small. A subscription would mostly charge you for something you already pay for.

Say it once. Lock your week on Sunday. Do the one thing that counts each day.

The founders price is $29.99 instead of $39.99, paid once, for the first 500 people. Save your spot now and you’ll get the TestFlight beta first, so you can try it on real weeks before you pay.

P.S. You’ll use Lifehand on TestFlight before you spend anything, and web purchases come with a 30-day refund. The only thing it asks of you is to say what’s on your mind.
